NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NJDEP FUNDING APPLICATION FOR ALL-INCLUSIVE PLAYGROUND
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., or soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Montgomery Township Committee will conduct a public hearing during its regular meeting regarding an application for funding for an all-inclusive playground to be located at the Montgomery Township Municipal Center, 100 Community Drive, Skillman, NJ 08558. Montgomery Township is seeking funding through the State of New Jersey Green Acres Program for the proposed project and members of the public are encouraged to attend to learn more about the project, ask questions or provide comments. Written comments on the proposed application may be directed to John Groeger, Montgomery Township Parks and Recreation Director, 356 Skillman Road, Skillman, NJ 08558 or at jgroeger [at] montgomerynj.gov. A concept plan including proposed changes, preliminary cost estimate and environmental impact assessment for the project can be found below.
