NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the Township of Montgomery on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 11:00 AM local prevailing time in the Montgomery Township Council Chambers, Room 118A, 100 Community Drive, Skillman NJ 08558 at which time bids will be opened and read in public for:
GRAYSON ESTATES PUMP STATION UST REPLACEMENT PROJECT
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Township of Montgomery is accepting bids for the GRAYSON ESTATES PUMP STATION UST REPLACEMENT PROJECT which includes the installation of an above-ground storage tank (AST) system to be utilized in lieu of the existing underground storage tank (UST). The scope includes modification of existing facilities required for installation of the new storage tank and fuel delivery system; procurement and installation of a new AST, day tank, and fuel delivery system to the existing emergency generator; procurement and installation of a new reinforced concrete pad to support the AST; procurement and installation of associated mechanical piping, valves, and appurtenances connecting the new AST and day tank to the existing generator; procurement and installation of new electrical and control conduit, wire, panels, and appurtenances related to the new fuel delivery system, and procurement and installation of sections of 6-foot-high chain link fence; Other incidental work includes installing work zone protection and signage, minor vegetative pruning, proper disposal of waste materials, restoration of disturbed areas, and cleanup.
There will be a pre-bid meeting and site visit on November 2, 2023, at 11:00 am. At that time, it is recommended that all interested bidders attend the Montgomery Township Council Chambers, Room 118A, 100 Community Drive, Skillman, NJ 08558.
