Electronic Waste Recycling Day

Somerset County residents can recycle electronics free of charge on designated Saturdays and weekdays.

Following is a listing of Saturday dates, location and time for 2024:

• Saturday drop-offs:  from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South County Public Works Garage, located at 410 Roycefield Rd., Hillsborough, NJ 08844. 

   

  Occupants should remain in their vehicles until otherwise instructed. Residents will also be expected to remove items without assistance and place items on pallets as instructed by staff.

There is no need to make an appointment at the above Saturday times and location.

SITES OPEN DAILY: M-F 7:30 AM-3 PM at the North County Public Works Garage, 411 Chimney Rock Rd. - north of Rt. 22 - Bldg. B, Bridgewater, NJ 08807, and the South County Public Works Garage, 410 Roycefield Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844. Proof of Somerset County residency is required (current driver's license, valid lease, tax bill or any other bill with a Somerset County address). Pre-registration is not required. No businesses allowed. No Commercial vehicles are permitted at the Electronic Waste events.
