Private Wells

The Montgomery Township Health Department cares about the safety of your drinking water.

Most Montgomery households and businesses are on public water, which is provided by NJ American Water.

However, many homes and some businesses have private wells, typically in rural and some suburban areas of town not serviced by NJAW.

Please contact the Health Dept. at (908) 359-8211 x 2227 with questions or email at health [at] montgomerynj.gov ().
